Touch of class

Not much to add to this gesture…

Well, except, I don’t know about you, but that one letter impresses me a helluva lot more with its author than the guys you hear about who send 155 in one day to a recruit.

  1. What a great guy! This kind of classy old school stuff restores my faith in the game of CF.

Definitely a classy act by Sumlin. Aaron sharing it was also classy.

He sent one to his QB too. It read:

    “Dear Johnny,

Try not to be an even bigger asshole when you go to the NFL”

Thanks heyto…that honestly brought tears to my old eyes. The Georgia Bulldogs are a special brand of people and it starts at the top..and I mean above Coach Richt when I say “the Top”! It doesn’t “trickle down”, it pours!

  7. He could have said, “I wished I coached you instead of the knucklehead I have right now.” Class act by Sumlin, by the way.

Does Murray have a younger brother who plays ball?

I don’t think so. Older brother played minor league base ball & was a walkon at uga for a little.

He also has a terribly attractive college aged sister.

“terribly attractive” ? Is it terrible because she is lovely to the point of being un-approachable by us sweathogs?

          Something like that.

Painfully attractive would work too. Athens Banner Herald had a feature about the 3 a few months back.

They seem like 3 really good kids who fortunately have matriculated at UGA. I expect that one day we will hear more good things about them during future pre-game shows with the tagline – “And that’s another Bulldog point of pride.”
