Watched the replay of Ga-Fl last night. Wasn’t a great game until the fourth quarter but the Dawgs sure brought it. Receivers blocking, defense tackling, special teams covering well. Only thing they never did was stop Zuniga. Beast. Anyway, the gang tackling reminded me of the Junkyard Dawgs. Very physical. It’s gonna take everybody playing that way to navigate this upcoming schedule. And get everybody, two and three deep, ready.

I did as well. I also flipped back and forth between Georgia-Auburn and Georgia -Bama SECCG right after that. Well the flipping back and forth part ended near then end. The Auburn finish was much more palatable than the SECCG ending.

“Only thing they never did was block Zuniga.” For 6 plays in a row.

      FIFY.

I am not a Cheney hater, but our inability to recognize that we needed to get a helmet on that dude leads to severe questions.

Idiotic. Zuniga was unblocked and tackling the runner from the side every play on the goal line series. Call a play where a TE or a back at least chips him. That series convinced me that Chaney needed to go and I am so glad he’s gone.

So did I, followed by staying up way too late to watch the Auburn game.

I forgot just how badly Chaney fucked up the two drives into the red zone. That second drive he had EIGHT goal to go downs and couldn’t dial up a touchdown.

I’m sorry, but after watching that abortion, no one can convince me Kirby didn’t ask him to find another job after a bowl performance that was just as bad from a play calling perspective. So glad he and his predictable tendencies (only pass out of passing formations, only run out of running formations, throwing the 20 yard out and the 5 yards behind the line WR boundary screen way too much) are gone!

Don’t forget having a couple of stud running backs but running a 160lb WR at Vandy’s best player on back to back plays needing 1 yard.

Corch, you and I are definitely in agreement on this one.

He ALWAYS brought Herrein in on short yardage calls last year. Kid delivered, but that doesn’t make it the right decision with our larger backs available. (I mean geez, one yard to get. Take Holyfield out, put in mini-Holyfield. CRAZY)

            I effing HATE Jim Chaney.

If Kirby got Dan Enos like he wanted, we’d have won a National Title in 2017 and beaten Bama in 2018 for the SEC Title.

Can’t argue with that, frankly. At least we got Pittman out of that call.

Honestly, we could have put that on Seth Emerson’s list of biggest what-ifs for this decade and even for the program’s overall history. I’m still bothered that we didn’t get him before Bama did. He worked wonders on Hurts.

Jim Chaney is the fucking worst. Tennessee fans are about to find out how bad soon enough.

Recruit like Saban. Coach them to go play like Dooley and Erk. Lethal combo.

Make them not want to even get off the bus.

And yet another reason you don’t run Rodrigo on a fake FG!!

Just play ball for 60 and they’ll lay down and quit!!!

Composure and physicality. Kirby’s mantra in 2017 carries on.

That is something we never heard in the 15 years before Kirby arrived in Athens, nor is it something any Dawg in their right mind would expect to hear! Damn, Kirby really has changed the entire culture at UGA!

    Attack the Day, indeed!

Made me think of that post-Tennessee presser where Pruitt said “they tried to change how we think”. Pretty sure that’s what he was watching from the sideline.

Yea, the East should say that. What about LSU and Bama though? Was it uninamous?

How many of those guys played both Bama and Georgia? Might be some sampling issues with this one. Nonetheless, I’ll take the compliment. It’s certainly a sign of good things.
