Sent from Ryan, this is hanging from the ceiling at the Corral Bar in Montana.
Damn straight.
And I bet anyone who sees it knows what that “G” stands for, too.

“We remember the Sugar Bowl, I think it my junior year of high school, we let Alabama beat us twice,” Brinson said of a team that also lost to the Crimson Tide in the SEC Championship game. “We’re not letting Alabama beat us twice. In the Sugar Bowl in 2018, they… thought they should have been in the playoffs and lost to Texas.” -- AB-H, 12/27/23
Nice. Stew acknowledged the Dawgs will be Kings in the upcoming version of his CFB tiers.

Oh make no mistake, their fans make ample use of the gesture. They even make a foam finger version of it.

I think it’s time for Montana Project Phase II. Go back to Montana and ask people who won the most recent national title. Then show them helmets from Nebraska, Florida State, and Tennessee—all of which Mandel deemed “kings” back in 2007—and see how many Montanans can identify them accurately.

Some tool on reddit (yeah, that’s redundant) was talking about how Tennessee was a blue blood of CFB. I pointed out their losing record in the SEC for this century.

Man, one 8–5 season and suddenly it’s the ’90s again in Knoxville, huh?

I was in this fine establishment three summers ago. Quintessential hole-in-the-wall, unpretentious western dive bar. Mix between local blue collars, a few tourists & a few yuppie types from Big Sky down the road. Low ceilings, pool tables, lots of random memorabilia & dusty mounts. Country music on the juke box & friendly bartenders. Kind of like a Cody Jinks song. My kinda joint & they damn sho had some Dawg gear behind the bar back then too. Mandel can kiss my country ass!
