Stay cool and enjoy these:
- Unlike Travis, I think Aaron Murray’s being a little hard on himself here.
- On the other hand, he was no Mike Bobo: “Only one Georgia quarterback — current offensive coordinator and quarterbacks coach Mike Bobo — has had a higher passing efficiency rating than Murray’s 154.48.”
- It’s good to see that Ohio State has learned its lesson on so many levels.
- Butch Davis, nepotist.
- Which makes this icing on the cake.
- Here’s evidence that coaches aren’t any smarter than the next guy. But they are just as greedy.
- USA Today, he keeds, he keeds.
- Mr. College Football’s assessment of Isaiah Crowell might be more convincing if he’d spell Richard Samuel’s name correctly.
- Steve Kragthorpe sure has had a rough go of it lately.
- Thomas Davis is a sharp looking graduate.
I’ve known UNC fans to be some of the most uppity, conceded fans around, so the fact that they continue to make mindless mistakes, even from their chancellor, is very fitting. Even if it isn’t basketball.

As someone who got wait-listed by UNC as an apple-cheeked high-school senior in ’94/’95, I gotta admit their recent embarrassments have been highly entertaining.

Hey, that’s THE Ohio State to you, Bucko!

Bobo was insane in 97. If we get consistent production from Murray on the scale of that for the next three years, we’ll be okay, especially of the defensive player-turned running back turns out as well this time as it did in 97…

That passer rating line made me think, has anyone gotten more out of his ability than Mike Bobo in the last, oh, 40 years of Georgia football? Hoage maybe?

Muschamp, maybe? Actually, I have no idea. Since we’re throwing out names of guys who played at Georgia but are having success in other places I thought I’d say so.

Glad to see the other side for a change. That Is, a lot of talk has been about not getting the most out of their ability & now some talk about getting the most out of their ability. I think It all balances out. Some get better & others do not.
Hopefully 2011 will be a banner year for players playing the best they are capable of playing by giving it their all. GATA.

The UGA player who has gotten the most out of his ability in football (and he has a lot) is Hines Ward, no doubt about it. Just an average sized guy with average speed and how many Super Bowl rings does he have now? And how many times has he been All-Pro in the NFL? The UGA guy who has gotten the most out of his ability in a sport other than football is Bubba Watson who just seems to get better every year.

At QB I’d go with David Greene. Forget QB ratings, 42 wins says all I need to hear. But Hoage is a good pick if you’re considering players at any position.

Joe Cox would have more wins if he had the benefit of the defense during the Greene years.

Greedy, greedy, greedy. The company apparently did not know that this money came with usury attached. Sure they didn’t. They signed the notes. If Donnan is guilty of anything it’s taking advantage of his friends but the friends are idiots if they think a company can pay 60-70% interest on loans. This is an embarrassment to high paid coaches. Some over zealous lawyer used the term Ponzi because he heard it on TV.
