“We remember the Sugar Bowl, I think it my junior year of high school, we let Alabama beat us twice,” Brinson said of a team that also lost to the Crimson Tide in the SEC Championship game. “We’re not letting Alabama beat us twice. In the Sugar Bowl in 2018, they… thought they should have been in the playoffs and lost to Texas.” -- AB-H, 12/27/23
Definitely good for us that South Carolina held off A&M and snuck back into the polls. May their run continue well into November.

Unfortunately, statistics lie or are misleading.
This is a good example..
Di hope both Oregon & South Carolina keep winning.
Would bet on Oregon

I’m glad SC’s rise in the polls makes us look better, but this whole “currently ranked” deal is mostly bogus. If you play a team week 1 whose 5 best players got hurt in preseason camp, that’s not the same team than the week 8 iteration that has all those guys back.

Correct. Looking forward to UGA finally having all those guys back.
Go Dawgs.

None of that matters if you lose to Tennessee.

Looks like we play up to and also down to our level of competition.

Georgia’s averaging a 42-9 victory. They played a couple of bad games (bad first halves really) in a row against Kent State and Missouri and have otherwise looked like the number one team is supposed to look. I guess it’s inevitable, but Georgia fans are starting to sound as spoiled as Bama fans.
