Clearing the decks, filling the chafing dishes…
- Is Brendan Langley looking at a chance for some redemption in the bowl game?
- At least 12 bowl games have peddled deep-discount seats on Groupon, LivingSocial or Goldstar in recent years.
- “Ball and McClendon managed, and so did Georgia’s offense.”
- Breaking down Auburn’s rushing attack.
- ESPN does a Gator Bowl roundtable with its Georgia and Nebraska bloggers. It doesn’t sound like they have much more of a grasp on what’s gonna happen than we do.
- How come nobody told me Nick Marshall has a football playing cousin named Quez Mahoganey?
- So did Corch want to hire Chad Morris or not?
- For Mike Bobo, “Interviewing elsewhere could lead to another boost in salary, if not taking over a program of his own.” Either way, it sounds like Greg McGarity will probably have to raise the budget for the coaching staff.
- Of course they did.
Regarding Groupon: I’ve never been happy with the location of bowl seats ordered through the school. That’s one more reason I shop them on the open market.
Regarding “Of course they did” – my son’s initials are S.E.C. and my daughter is named after Lindsay Scott. I don’t think Mrs. Castleberry would bite on a misspelled mascot name though. Curious who else has Dawg inspired kids names??

That is classy though. At least they are real names that will not be an embarrassment to the child. So many children are named ESPN, it is pathetic.

Lewis wrote,” Son, why your name is Kevin.” Remember that one? I was at that game behind Kevin blowing like the wind with all those Dawgs in the end zone. Sadly, he never had a son. May he rest in peace.

I’d really hate to lose Bobo. Great play caller, recruiter and QB coach. I hate the whole “head coach in waiting” thing but i suggest we pony up the money to keep him around until CMR goes into missions full time. Plus, we’ll have someone to blame everything on.

No they didn’t! The least they could have done is spell it right. Typical obsessed Bama Fans.

“Krimson Tyde,” eh? In a related piece of news, two Tennessee fans named their new baby “Trailer Trash MoFo” in honor of the Vols.

I have thought for several years that Coach Ball was doing a good job. When you can throw unheralded true freshmen and former walk-ons out there at WR and still be what Gary Danielson called “the most effective offense in college football” , you’re doing something right.

Saw somewhere else that said the parents met 9 years ago, when she was 15 and he was 22. Just makes the story that much better.

They met at a family gathering no doubt–cousins.

Which reminds me, can I get a legal opinion, please, from one of our many blog lawyers on this: An Alabama man and an Alabama woman fall in love and move to Georgia where they get married and live together for seven years. They then get divorced. Are they still cousins?

Notice how the media and others soften the circumstances around Marshall’s dismissal from UGA? Breaking into a teammates room is not just violating team rules.
