A better statement that Bo could have said in the follow up is that he thinks that if the played again it would be a better game than saying that Oregon would definitely win. I would actually agree with that statement. I don’t think that Oregon would win or even be within two touchdowns, but I do think that it wouldn’t be 49-3 either. I agree. If a media person asks the first question of a team’s starting QB, what is he supposed to say as the team’s starting quarterback?

Not what he said. That’s what he should have said, almost anything else besides they would beat GA. I’d like to have another shot, I think the game would be much tougher for them, I’d like to see how we stack up now, maybe we’ll be able to find out how much we’ve improved if we keep winning. It was a careless & stupid statement from someone that has certainly been around enough to know better. I was happy that Oregon was winning for Lannings sake, now I’d like to see them in a rematch.

I will grant him Georgia likely would not win as big, but Dogs still win comfortably. It would be hard to repeat a performance like we saw on Labor Day weekend.
